Sandy Scott

Sandy Scott, Managing Director

Sandy Scott has over 30 years experience in the IT software services and supply sector, with many of his years spent specialising in payroll, HR and recruitment agency solutions. During his career Sandy has managed customer services, professional services, development and sales departments. His experience includes five years spent overseas and for 15 years he was managing director at Peterborough Software, later known as Rebus. In these roles he has always provided high levels of customer service and introduced some very successful products. These products lead the market for HR, payroll, and recruitment and are used by thousands of users across international markets.

Since joining Safe Computing in 2002, the company has substantially strengthened its relationship with customers. The company has also won many new customers and has an average growth of 30% per annum in this time. Sandy and his management team are committed to continuing this ongoing success, and to working in partnership with customers.

Jason Martin

Jason Martin, Commercial Director

Jason obtained  an IT degree and moved directly into a business intelligence consultancy role, before moving into sales with Peterborough Software, running the commercial team. Having subsequently worked for Oracle UK, he moved to Safe Computing in 2003. At Safe he ultimately took the role of commercial director, and now runs the sales and marketing side of the business that focuses on staffing solutions.  Over the past 4 years he has worked closely with some of europes largest recruiters. He has built up a strong knowledge of the recruitment process flow and this experience has enabled him to help customers build business cases for technology change.

Eddie Young

Eddie Young, Tempest Product Manager

Eddie has worked for Safe Computing for over two decades.  As a former HMRC inspector, he is uniquely positioned to ensure that our middle office pay and bill platforms are maintained in line with legislative guidelines.  Eddie is also responsible for a number of annual Safe presentations that he gives to our customers around end of year processes, legislation changes and pay and bill best proactive.

Steve Chamberlain, Front Office Manager

Having previously worked for Blue Arrow, Steve Joined Safe over nine years ago. His role at Safe is to lead the product management for the portal and front office technology products.  He is part of a Microsoft .Net development team and focuses on the front end of the recruitment process.

Geoff Griffiths

Geoff Griffiths, Head of Customer Support

Geoff has worked in a computing environment for nearly 30 years. His career began as an accountant, but that role never quite brought him enough challenges. Unfulfilled, Geoff worked his way up swiftly up the ladder, to company secretary, a position he held for two years before progressing to financial director, which he held for a further five years.  He had a keen eye for business strategy, company progression and high quality customer service became the most rewarding elements of his work. The natural progression was to found his own company, something he did in 1989, beginning Topaz, which was later acquired by Safe Computing. Geoff’s business began with just six people, but steadily grew to a prosperous 40 employees with designated premises, now the Nottingham branch of Safe. In joining, Topaz brought to Safe some market leading blue chip customers, such as Archer Daniels Midland, Allied Mills, CLS, and Imperial Tobacco. Acquired by Safe in August 2008, Geoff is proud to continue his work as part of the Safe group, maintaining a high standard of quality for customer service.

Renata Jones, Lead Generation Manager

Renata Jones

No stranger to working for organisations with longevity and success, Renata joined the company in 2010 in this new role, with a wealth of experience. Her work history includes large multinationals such as Service Master and 3M, and she has worked for the government, including the Driving Standards Agency.
